METERRE MONTRÉAL is the future-minded evolution of MATERIA DESIGN — the award-winning Montréal / New York commercial interiors practice I co-founded and led across more than 500 mandates.

I design for people first — for how they actually move, gather, work, play and belong — and let everything else follow. After 25 years, I'm more convinced than ever that the best interiors aren't the most beautiful ones; they're the spaces that bring people together and change how it feels to be in them — whether that's a workplace a company is proud of, a restaurant a neighbourhood adopts, or a room a community returns to.

My practice is built on genuine curiosity about the humans who'll live in a space long after the design is done. That curiosity is what makes design ethical, inclusive, integrative and sustainable in practice, not just in principle.
